Skin Cancer Screening
As a part of our dermatology services, we offer a thorough skin cancer screening program aimed at detecting melanoma skin cancers at an early stage and ensuring at-risk persons or those with suspicious moles are followed up on a schedule that is appropriate for their level of risk. It is possible to save a person’s life if they are diagnosed early.

Our clinic is pleased to support the Skin Safe campaign, which aims to save lives by promoting proper skin care and frequent skin cancer screenings, which are especially important in the Cayman sun.
Melanoma can be detected early and saved lives. Melanoma can be detected at the earliest possible stage with the correct screening technology, which is what we have to offer.
Have your AI-driven skin cancer screen annually. Identify Melanoma EARLY.
The Case for Early Detection
98% Survival
at 5 years post diagnosis if melanoma remains localised (early)
64% Survival
at 5 years if melanoma has spread to regional lymph nodes
23% Survival
at 5 years if melanoma has spread to distant parts of body (late)
Early Detection Saves Lives
Any type of cancer is terrifying. But the disparity between early and late detection is even frightening. When melanoma is detected early and is localized and not too thick, 98 percent of people will live for another 5 years. When the disease has spread to other parts of the body, the chances of survival plummet to just 23%. Our goal is to recognize the problem as soon as feasible. It also saves money on therapy because earlier treatment is usually less expensive. In Cayman, regular skin cancer screening is extremely important.

State of the Art Screening
We are fortunate to have access to Automated Total Body Dermoscopy, the most cutting-edge AI-driven skin cancer screening available. The non-invasive scanning procedure takes less than 15 minutes to capture the entire body and highlight certain moles that need to be examined further. Furthermore, once you’ve been scanned once, each subsequent scan not only looks at you again, but it also compares the new photos to the previous scan, allowing you to reliably detect moles that have changed.
Cost & Insurance
Total Body Mole Mapping has a maximum expense of $200.24 KYD, which may be reimbursed by your insurance. The prices we charge for this scanning procedure are Cayman Standard Fees. Separate charges may apply if the ATBM scan identifies moles that require further study, though these are usually covered by your insurance and are also charged at Cayman Standard Fee rates. Charges will always be disclosed to you before they are incurred.
Our Process
Step 1 - History
We will ask you to complete a short history form that helps us create a risk profile. This can be used to set an appropriate schedule going forward too.
Step 2 - Scan
Having taken a history, we will then conduct the simple, non-invasive full body scan, using our Automated Total Body Dermascopy FotoFinder, the very latest in AI-driven, body-mapping technology
Step 3 - Evaluation
If the total body scan identifies areas or moles that warrant further investigation, this will then be conducted by our dermatologist, either immediately or in a new appointment swiftly arranged.
